10 Steps To Convert Your Garage Into A Home Gym
Having a home gym is a luxury, most people travel for hours per day and pay expensive monthly gym memberships. So it goes without saying if it was possible to bring the gym to your home then it’s an avenue most people would love to consider. It’s also evident that many homeowners have an old garage with lots of rubbish gathering dust.
So why not convert that space from a rusty old garage into a bespoke home gym, cutting time and costs in the long run. Here’s ten steps to turning your old garage into a bespoke home gym;
1. Empty The Garage
First and foremost you are going to need to empty the space. Emptying the space will lead the way to the planning and installation of your home garage. It would be impossible and uncomfortable to work out surrounded by bits of old furniture and car parts.
If the items in your garage cannot be sent to the landfill or donated to charity then you are likely going to either need a garden shed or a storage unit, which can offer 24 hour security and a safer environment to house your belongings. 2. Measure and Plan

So instead you could look at installing a TV or some speakers in your home gym to allow you to enjoy the entertainment while working out without the distractions a phone can bring.
